ABOUT US Over the years, the Bohannon Group has raised support for organizations such as The Children’s Cancer Research Fund and Team Connor. Having raised over $50,000 at its 5th Annual Charity Golf Event in 2008, the foundation is already off to a running start and on the lookout for additional organizations that would benefit from a partner such as the Bohannon Group and its vast network of representatives, sponsors, families and friends. The Bohannon Group has a proud culture of strong productivity through high-integrity financial representatives and specialists. But the group’s pride goes well-beyond its professional strength; Founded in 2008, The Bohannon Group Foundation was established to give back to those in need.

In addition to the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, the Bohannon Group and its Financial Representatives annually join forces with "Final Stretch"— combining a love for running and a commitment to community service. Over the past four years, the Bohannon Group has helped Final Stretch raise over $102,000 for Childrens Cancer Research. This partnership allows Financial Representatives, their families and friends to participate in the various races set up by Final Stretch to not only focus on a healthy style of living, but to give back to the community as well. In partnership with Final Stretch, the Bohannon Group presented a check to Childrens Cancer Research for $1 for each runner on selected events - totaling over three thousand dollars last year.

Timonthy J. Bohannon Managing Partner of the Bohannon Group Foundation. Timothy joined Northwestern Mutual in 1982 and has successfully held every financial representative and management contract available to the field force since. Through his experience and commitment, Tim offers a deep knowledge of the business and a strong enthusiasm for every aspect of the career – from sales to management. As Managing Partner, Tim has been instrumental in developing strong, successful leaders within the company and the field force, exemplified most recently in The Bohannon Group receiving the Team Growth Award in 2005. The Bohannon Group has been a recipient of the General Agency Growth Award and the International Management Award every year since 2001 and the Master Agency Award each year beginning in 2002. |
